Dada Virendrapuri Ji Eye Institute was established as a philanthropic initiative by its founding director, Dr Pawan Sthapak in the loving memory of his spiritual mentor, Dada Virendrapuri Ji Maharaj. It was inaugurated on April 2, 2017. It is situated in the heart of India, on the banks of Narmada, near Tilwara Bridge in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. It is a super specialty eye hospital adhering to international quality standards, National accreditation Board of Hospitals has also certified the hospital as being fully accredited, providing the utmost level of care. It is spread across a humongous 16.5 acres campus, covering a construction area of about 1 lakh sq. ft. The hospital encompasses 7 modular Operation theaters which are 100 percent bacteria-free. Along with state-of-the-art infrastructure, having a fully equipped diagnostic center comprising of different eye departments, several doctor’s chambers to combat of all sorts of eye related problems. There are general and private wards available for patients as well. DVJEI has also been recognized for its efforts in promoting hygiene, cleanliness and infection-control, it has been awarded for upholding the same by the Quality Council of India as per the Kayakalp guidelines established by the Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Government of India.

There is a cafeteria available inside the hospital campus which caters to the patient’s need of a well-balanced, nutritious meal when they undergo treatment at the hospital. Free transportation via-a-vis, busses and ambulances are also available for the patients to travel to-and-from medical camps to the hospital. The hospital campus boasts a green and clean environment which motivates a faster recovery of the patients. The eco-friendly hospital campus also hosts a serene butterfly park. The infrastructure of the building has been built keeping in mind safety measures pertaining to fire hazards. We have also deployed a waste-water recycling plant to re-use water, using solar energy panels for electricity generation, rainwater harvesting and engaging in regular tree plantations to do our bit in being a pro-environment institution.Our core values are “quality, care and commitment”.
